Not shabby numbers at all. I don't consider him top tier though, but I don't guess he could be blamed for the players around him. He has turned his career around in Green Bay though, I'll give him that.

Re: Best Defensive player in the league....

their defense is really only him and nick collins

aj hawk is having a shitty year

aaron kampman isnt having the kind of year he has the past few seasons

    al harris has been miserable

brady poppinga is still brady poppinga

so considering what hes playing with.......its no surprise that they havent given up 50 in every game this year.......but i think if you took either him or collins off the team their defense would be as bad at the lions

Re: Best Defensive player in the league....

Barnett isn't playing terribly, but he isn't lights out either. Hawk actually plays better at the MLB position than on the outside, but I think he was drafted way too high.

As for Kampman and Harris and the others - they just aren't playing inspired ball this year. Maybe the Favre saga took it's toll on them, or maybe they just don't believe in Rodgers. IDK what is wrong with them. They are defintely better than how they are playing.

hawk never should have been drafted that high.....but regardless of that.......his numbers this year are still dreadful compared to the last few

I think he would be best suited as the weak side ILB in a 34 defense.

But he shouldn't have, much like his teammate Barbie Carpenter.

I'd say Haynesworth but Jenkins for the Jets and Ware for the boys are all playing at a high level!

He pretty much cost them the game today with that poor play on Smith.

Further proof he doesn't belong in this thread.
